Episode 6 of The Chip Frontier: Building Florida’s Workforce
Posted on: December 10, 2025
Florida’s semiconductor strategy isn’t just reshaping industries, it’s transforming lives. In this season’s final episode of The Chip Frontier: Florida’s Semiconductor Edge, we spotlight Jayden Graham, a NeoCity Academy graduate whose story reveals the human side of innovation.
Jayden didn’t just learn about STEM, he lived it. Surrounded by industry access and hands-on learning at NeoCity Academy, he founded FLIPS (Fostering Leaders, Innovators, and Pioneers in STEM), a student-led nonprofit that empowers high school juniors to launch STEM immersion camps for elementary and middle school students. FLIPS has already established camps in three states, with more on the way, and is launching a new Hub Program to expand its reach, starting right here in Central Florida.
Jayden is now attending MIT, but his impact is already being felt across the region. His journey is one student’s story, but it’s also a blueprint for how Florida’s investment in innovation and education is creating a future-ready workforce.
